Mrs. Susan Curtis’ current position of preschool director, since 2025, has followed 2 years of serving as an Associate Director as well as 15 years of teaching experience in all of our offered class levels. Her various roles have equipped her to see all aspects of the day-to-day preschool operations from ministering to the students, to addressing parent concerns, to the handling of business decisions that promote a positive and rewarding learning environment. Her vision is to serve the Lord through the preschool and to develop an atmosphere where both the students and staff reach their full potential.

Mrs. Susan Lawrence has been a cherished part of Faith Baptist Preschool for 13 ½ years, sharing her warmth, energy, and love with every child she meets. She has taught an 18-month-old class and has always been willing to help wherever needed. With both of her children having gone through the program, Faith Baptist has become a true home for her family. For the past 18 years, she has also been deeply involved at Faith Baptist Church, known for her big heart, even bigger hugs, and willingness to lend a helping hand to brighten someone’s day!

Mrs. Pamela Davis has been teaching the 3 year old class for the past 2 years. She enjoys educating the children about Jesus and believes that being in the classroom is a blessing from God. Pam has a natural rapport with the children as well as their parents.

Mrs. Kelley has been teaching Pre-K and working in the Early Intervention field for the last several years. She has two children: Madison is age 7 and Mason is 3. Kelley has been married to her husband, Josh for almost 12 years. She has 3 nephews and 1 niece that she loves to spoil! Kelley grew up in Raleigh, attends Church in Raleigh, and has lived in Wendell for the past 7 years. She graduated from ECU in 2008 with a B.S. in Speech & Hearing Sciences and completed her M.S. in Child Development & Family Relations with a concentration in Autism Research in 2010.

Mrs. Betty Moon has 29 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for early childhood education. She is dedicated to helping young children grow both spiritually and academically. With a heart for teaching, she loves introducing children to the love of Jesus and takes great care in preparing them for kindergarten. She strives to build a caring and joyful space where children can blossom with confidence and faith.

Mrs. Jamie Pergerson brings high energy, authentic enthusiasm and passion when working with kids. She is entering into her 4th year of developing preschoolers. She also loves sharing Jesus with her students through song and dance. In her “spare time” she enjoys working as a gymnastics camp director.

Mrs. Amie Bailey has been teaching infants through 5 year olds at her church for the last 4 years. She is also entering into her second year at our preschool. She loves to snuggle the babies and do crafts with the preschoolers while teaching them about Jesus. Amie has been married to her husband for 17 years and they have 3 children ages 10, 6, and 2. She loves working with children and seeing their excitement as they learn new things.

Mrs. Renee Beck has been teaching preschool for 13 years guiding chidren ages 18 months through 4’s. She has a passion for teaching both academics and a love of God beginning at a young age. She has been married to her husband, Robbie, for 21 years and has 2 children, ages 17 and 15. She attends church in Knightdale working with all age children at church. She is very excited to be rejoining Faith this year! 

For 19 years, Mrs. Edie  has been blessed to teach preschool, deeply loving the opportunity to help little ones learn and grow. She particularly enjoys singing songs, making fun crafts, and creating a classroom environment where children feel loved and excited to learn, guiding them in their love for Christ while teaching their ABCs and 123’s. Family is central to her life, bringing her immense joy through her two wonderful daughters and one beautiful granddaughter. She was married to the love of her life, Kevin, for 31 wonderful years before he went to be with the Lord four years ago.She also has a passion for serving in her church’s hospitality room, where she has the privilege of welcoming first-time guests each Sunday with homemade chocolate chip cookies and a friendly smile. Through simple acts of kindness, she strives to make others feel at home while sharing the love of Christ.

Mrs. Diane is entering her 5th year of teaching two-year-olds and her 23rd year overall working with children. She enjoys teaching little ones about Jesus and watching them grow. She and her husband Jim have been married for 34 years, and are blessed with three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They attend Bethlehem Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Amy Edwards brings to Faith Baptist Preschool 21 year of experience in the early childhood education field and is excited to teach music and movement and a class for 3’s at Faith this year. Primarily leading music and movement classes, she has experience teaching in all age groups of the preschool setting and running summer camps each summer as well. Ms. Amy teaches piano lessons in the afternoons and runs all business aspects in this field too. She and her husband Fred have been married for 33 years, have 3 “kids” (all grown), 1 son-in-law (with another to join the family this winter), 1 grandson, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 8 backyard chickens. Ms. Amy loves Jesus and shares her faith with anyone who will listen – big people or small!!

Mrs. Jennifer Oliver has spent over 10 years working with young children as a teacher, assistant teacher, and substitute teacher. She loves watching children learn new things, reach important milestones, and grow in confidence each day. Jennifer is thankful to be part of the Faith Baptist Preschool family and enjoys helping children feel loved, safe, and excited to come to school. She says it is a joy to share God’s love with her students and be a part of these special early years in their lives.

Mrs. Lindsey is the proud boy mom to three amazing boys, Mason age 9, Hudson age 5 and Carson age 3. While their house (and minivan) is usually filled with trucks, dirt, and baseball gear, she still loves all things pink and anything that sparkles! Lindsey is also a huge NC State fan. Her oldest son Mason attended Faith Baptist Preschool before starting kindergarten, and her younger two currently attend the preschool. Faith has been a special part of their family's journey for many years. Lindsey has a heart for children and loves watching them learn, grow, and discover the incredible way God created each one of them. She believes every child is uniquely made by God and deserves to feel loved, encouraged, and celebrated. Lindsey is so grateful to be part of a Christ-centered preschool where faith, kindness, and joyful learning are part of each day.

Mrs. Casey Sink will be a teacher for the 4 year olds this year. This will be her first year teaching at Faith. Casey has two children who went through Faith Baptist starting in 2021. From the beginning, she  fell in love with the school, our program, and the teachers. She has always enjoyed working with children of all ages and looks forward to creating an environment where they will thrive in and out of the classroom. Casey feels incredibly blessed to pour back into the school that gave her family so much.
