Mrs. Susan Curtis’ current position of preschool director has followed 2 years of serving as an Associate Director as well as 15 years of teaching experience in all of our offered class levels. Her various roles have equipped her to see all aspects of the day-to-day preschool operations from ministering to the students, to addressing parent concerns, to the handling of business decisions that promote a positive and rewarding learning environment. Her vision is to serve the Lord through the preschool and to develop an atmosphere where both the students and staff reach their full potential.
Mrs. Susan Lawrence has been a cherished part of Faith Baptist Preschool for 13 ½ years, sharing her warmth, energy, and love with every child she meets. She has taught an 18-month-old class and has always been willing to help wherever needed. With both of her children having gone through the program, Faith Baptist has become a true home for her family. For the past 18 years, she has also been deeply involved at Faith Baptist Church, known for her big heart, even bigger hugs, and willingness to lend a helping hand to brighten someone’s day!
Mrs. Pamela Davis has been teaching the 3 year old class for the past 2 years. She enjoys educating the children about Jesus and believes that being in the classroom is a blessing from God. Pam has a natural rapport with the children as well as their parents.
Mrs. Kelley has been teaching Pre-K and working in the Early Intervention field for the last several years. She has two children: Madison is age 7 and Mason is 3. Kelley has been married to her husband, Josh for almost 12 years. She has 3 nephews and 1 niece that she loves to spoil! Kelley grew up in Raleigh, attends Church in Raleigh, and has lived in Wendell for the past 7 years. She graduated from ECU in 2008 with a B.S. in Speech & Hearing Sciences and completed her M.S. in Child Development & Family Relations with a concentration in Autism Research in 2010.
Mrs. Betty Moon has 29 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for early childhood education. She is dedicated to helping young children grow both spiritually and academically. With a heart for teaching, she loves introducing children to the love of Jesus and takes great care in preparing them for kindergarten. She strives to build a caring and joyful space where children can blossom with confidence and faith.
